Dog Running in West Palm Beach: My name is Monika Stefaniak and I am an avid runner and professional pet sitter in West Palm Beach. I am available to take care of your energetic dog for a nice 30 or 45 minute run in the Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and Acreage area.
I live in Acreage with my 3 miniature dachshunds. My dogs love to run, but running with my little wiener dogs is not enough exercise for me. I would love to take your rambunctious dog for a long run, so when we arrive home from our running session, you won’t believe how mellow and balanced your dog is after adequate exercise.
I believe that a well exercised dog is a happy dog. I remember when I moved out of my parents home I had my first dog, Forest a Labrador retriever. I didn’t know much about dogs at that time. Over about 6 months, Forest literally consumed a sofa. Later, I realized why Forest ate my sofa - Forest was a young energetic dog who needed lot of stimulation and exercise. Now, working with dogs for the last 7 years, that is a no-brainer - but when I was a teenager I didn’t know better. I am sure there are others out there who think you can just let your dog out in the yard to exercise on their own, but that is not how it works.
You may have a very busy schedule or may not be able to run a full hour, and if so, please call me and I will run with your dog in West Palm Beach.
I can offer dog running to your dog early in the morning or late in the night. During the winter cooler months, I am also available for dog running during the day in the Acreage, West Palm and the Royal Palm Beach area.
If you do not want to wake up early, please don’t hesitate to call me to schedule your early morning dog run. You can sleep while I arrive at 6-7 am. Your dog will be waiting by the door when he or she hears my car pull up. By the time you get up, your dog will be exercised for the day.
If a service for running with your dog seems like a luxury, you are right - it is a well needed luxury for your dog. But who else will run and sweat for you while running with your dog? Is your regular dog walker in good shape and a marathon runner like me?
Before I start running with your dog, I would like to meet you and ask a couple of questions. Your dog may have to build up and get used to a long exercise session. I also need to know if there is any medical condition I should pay attention to. Some young and older dogs need special attention when running with them to avoid injury or overheating.
I always recommend my clients schedule a 2-3x weekly regular service to keep their dog healthy.
